Hello and welcome back to my thoughts!
Today, I have a new makeup review brought to you by BzzAgent! As a BzzAgent member, I was given the opportunity to try one of L’Oréal’s newest products, L’Oréal Infallible Lip Paint.
L’Oréal Infallible Lip Paints come in 14 vibrant colors and promises to give your pout a comfortable and full-coverage look. If you love lip products as much as I do, you can imagine how excited I was to put L’Oréal Infallible Lip Paint to the test.
After using L’Oréal Infallible Lip paint in shade 316 Wild Rose on multiple occasions, here are my thoughts…
The wand:
Though the product itself comes in a squeeze tube, there’s a handy applicator wand attached to it. The angled shape of the wand is helpful in applying the product. Despite the applicator picking up more lip paint than needed, it’s easy to dab the excess back into the tube to glide the appropriate amount of product across your lips.
Formula:
I have mixed reviews on the formula. I love the vibrancy of the color and how it’s a mix between a gloss and a liquid lipstick, but I’m not a fan of the durability or texture of the product. The words ‘infallible’ and ‘paint’ in the product had me under the impression I’d achieve a precise and long-lasting lip color. However, the formula was a bit too sticky and wore off quickly. It isn’t all bad, though! The shades are gorgeous and very saturated. I’m curious about trying a few other shades from the line just to see if they hold up better. Though it doesn’t last for hours on end, the formula does give your lips the perfect amount of color and shine(at least momentarily).
Overall, I’d give this lip product a 3.5/5 💋💋💋 rating. While the color didn’t hold up, the glossy formula did make my lips look brighter and fuller! So, if you don’t mind reapplying throughout the day/night, L’Oréal Infallible Lip Paints are worth a try. They retail under $10 at most drugstores and on Amazon.
