When some people think of Chippendales, they think of attractive men mindlessly dancing around wearing nothing more than briefs and a collar bow tie. But, the Chippendales experience is sooo much more than that! After attending a Chippendales show in Indianapolis earlier this month, I have newfound respect and admiration for the Chippendales men.  Don’t get me wrong, I love eye candy just as much as the next girl, but the men who make up Chippendales have a hell of a lot more to offer than a pretty face and perfectly sculpted abs. If you’ve ever toyed with the idea of attending a Chippendales show, here are 10 reasons you should spend the night with Chippendales the next time they’re in your city!

1) The choreography is seriously impressive.

The show is very well put together. It isn’t just a bunch of men scantily dancing and stripping to Ginuwine’s “Pony”. There’s a lot of thought behind their sexy strip teases and dance moves. And, it really shows! It’s clear that the creative director of Chippendales realizes that all different kinds of women and men attend their shows because they’re eager to please us all.

Instead of simply having attractive men recreate the most played-out female fantasies, the Chippendales men take it to the next level. They creatively play into every popular female fantasy. But, they also add unique scenarios into their routine that you didn’t even know you fantasized about until you saw it portrayed right in front of your eyes.

Of course, there were the brave and sexy firefighters, police officers, cowboys, and navy men. But there were also construction workers, Bruno Mars & boy band impersonations, a re-creation from Magic Mike and Footloose, a funny game show segment, and my personal favorite… Tarzan! 😉

So, if you think all these men do is parade around in their underwear… you are dead wrong! There’s a lot of blood, sweat, and man tears put into their routine. And, you get a good glimpse of their talent & dedication in their live shows.

2) It’s full of energy.

Despite touring from city to city performing in countless shows, the Chippendales men bring the phrase “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” to life in their shows. They are full of nonstop dance numbers, wardrobe changes, and numerous routines and they still have enough energy to seductively sway their hips and shake their booties on stage. From beginning to end, they move across that stage eager to please their adoring audience. And speaking of the audience, the audience has a whole lot of energy too! The piercing screams, whistles, and cheering provides the perfect soundtrack for the entire duration of the Chippendales show.

3)It’s a wildly entertaining experience

If you couldn’t already tell, attending a Chippendales show is very entertaining. Personally, it was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Of course, I was beyond impressed with the men and their dancing/stripping, but I was also entertained by my own thoughts during the show. I couldn’t stop thinking about what they were thinking while they were on stage.

Most of them looked as if they thoroughly enjoyed their work and the attention they received, but that didn’t stop me from thinking about the backstories of every man up there. What or who does he think about while he ferociously rips off his shirt revealing his incredibly defined abs? Is he single? How did he get here? What’s his daily life like? I didn’t have the answers to any of these questions. But, my mind definitely kept itself pleasantly amused trying to come up with them.

4) It’s more than just dancing

Though Chippendales may have been exclusively known for their sexy dance routines in the past, dancing is no longer all they do! It seems that Chippendales are all about finding ways to incorporate more into their routines. When you attend a Chippendales show, you should expect to be impressed by their dancing, stripping, AND singing. While you may be hesitant about going to a Chippendales show to hear live music, I guarantee they will not let you down! The designated singer, Justin Rhodes is anything but mediocre. In fact,  he was even a promising contestant on America’s Got Talent a few years back. If you want a taste of his musical talent, check out his YouTube channel here.

So, while you go to a Chippendales show to be captivated by the gorgeous shirtless men, you’re also likely to be swooned by the incredible talent that is Justin Rhodes.

5) The props are incredibly witty.

As much as we may want them to, Chippendales do not show EVERYTHING. There’s a lot of abs, naked booty, and bulges, but they’re classy enough to keep their naked private parts hidden from view. They do this with the use of clever and strategic props. Most of the props are cleverly incorporated into whatever segment of the show they are doing. For instance, during a firefighter segment, they may conceal their junk by hiding behind a hose.  Some of the props don’t necessarily belong to a certain theme and may be as simple as a Chippendale holding a censored sign in front of their manhood. While the use of props may be frustrating to some, I was amused by seeing the variety of props they came up with.

6) It’s a great way to celebrate singlehood

Many women go to a Chippendale’s show as part of their Bachelorette party, but it’s also a great way to celebrate singlehood. What better way to celebrate singlehood than to grab your friends, get your drink on, and watch sexy men shake their booties? There’s no eye candy like Chippendale eye candy! While it isn’t a personal strip tease (unless you’re called on stage), these men do everything in their power to make sure you’re having the time of your life. A Chippendales show will always be the perfect setting for a much-needed girls night out.

7) The men are unbelievably sexy.

There’s no denying how attractive these men are.  Simple as that!

8) It’s well worth the money.

The tickets aren’t as pricey as one may expect. My sister and I bought pretty good seats for roughly $40 a piece. The show is also much longer than I assumed! It lasted a little over two hours. If the two-hour long show isn’t enough to get you interested, after the show ended, the men even offered to take photos with everyone there! Unfortunately, my sister and I didn’t have time to wait in the long line because I had to work the following day, but the gesture of them having the patience to take photos with everyone really impressed me. Now, I am determined to go to another show to get a photo with them!

9) It’s strangely empowering

As strange as it sounds, going to a Chippendales show felt like a bonding experience between the women and men of the audience. The audience was excited and supportive of all the women pulled on stage. No one was rude or catty, everyone was polite, pleasant, and having the time of their lives wooing and screaming in unison at the top of their lungs. It was like one big slumber party featuring a 3D screening of Magic Mike.  It was a refreshing and exciting adventure! And if it takes a Chippendales show for women to build eachother up, I’m all for it!

10)It’s a unique experience

There’s nothing quite like a Chippendales show. It’s amusing, exciting, entertaining, and unpredictable. It’s something you’ll never forget. If anything, you should go just to say that you did.😉
