If someone told you that you could make extra money online, what’s the chances you would believe them? Naturally, you would probably be a bit skeptical and/or fearful that you would fall into a scheme. And while there are many schemes out there that you should be wary of, there are also some easy and safe ways to earn money online. Unlike most schemes, none of these methods I’m about to reveal to you require your credit card number or other super confidential information. All they require is your time and the use of your laptop and/or smartphone.
I don’t know about you, but an extra $800+ dollars a year is worth my time! Most of us spend hours on our electronics anyways, so we might as well be using that time to make money… right?! This year I’ve earned $890.05 just by using my laptop and smartphone. And the best part about it is that I did this from the comfort of my own home!
Are you ready to learn how to earn 💵? If so, read on to discover 7 easy ways to earn money online.🤑
If you only sign up for one of these methods, let it be Opinion Outpost! Opinion Outpost is a survey site and is also my absolute favorite website to earn extra money on! I made so much this year on Opinion Outpost that I recently had to fill out a W-9 form before I could start earning more. I was even able to buy a new laptop with the additional income Opinion Outpost provided me with.
Although there are many survey sites on the web, Opinion Outpost has been the best in my experience. Many surveys are on interesting topics and consumers are often offered an incentive to try and review products. Opinion Outpost provides members with relevant surveys that typically range from anywhere between 50 cents to $10. Members are sometimes even selected for research studies that have a payout of $100 or more.
My second favorite survey site is E-Poll. You won’t make as much with E-Poll because E-Poll surveys aren’t offered as frequently, but they are always very entertaining and easy to complete.
Opinion Outpost Annual Amount Earned: $480.50 PayPal and $23.00 in Amazon Gift cards.
E-poll Rewards Annual Amount Earned:$65.00 PayPal
2. Bing(Microsoft Rewards)
Microsoft Rewards (formerly known as Bing Rewards) is a reward system created by Bing.com. Bing.com rewards members for their daily searches, for taking short quizzes, and for clicking web pages on Bing’s homepage. The number of points you can earn daily depends on whether you’re a Level 1 or a Level 2 member. Every member begins as Level 1 but can level up to Level 2 if/when you consistently search on Bing.
Once you’re a Level 2 member, you can earn up to 250 points a day! This is a lot more than the 50 points you earn daily as a Level 1 member. The more points you earn and the quicker you’re earning them, the faster you’ll be able to redeem them for awesome rewards such as $5-$10 Starbucks & Amazon Gift cards!
While you won’t get rich from it, Microsoft Rewards definitely gives you some extra pocket money! I honestly couldn’t afford my Starbucks habit without it!
Microsoft Rewards Annual Amount Earned: $105 in Starbucks Gift Cards
Crowdtap is a website where consumers are connected to the brands they love, as well as brands they’ve never heard of. On Crowdtap, members earn points by taking short polls, viewing/sharing content, participating in discussions, and sampling and reviewing new and exciting products. Upon earning 1000 points, you will be sent a code for a $5 Amazon Gift Card. I’ve earned a total of $310 in rewards from Crowdtap since I became a member in 2015. It’s a fast and fun way to earn money for your Amazon wishlist!
Crowdtap Annual Amount Earned: $120 in Amazon Gift Cards
4. Google Rewards
Google Opinion Rewards is an app available to Android smartphones. On Google Opinion Rewards, members answer short surveys on a variety of topics. Most surveys are only a couple questions long and pay anywhere from 5 cents to $1. I’m not as active on this app as the others mentioned because the frequency of their short surveys varies.
However, if you have an Android phone it’s worth the download! With Google Rewards, members are rewarded Google Play credit. Although most of us would prefer money, you can purchase apps, movies, books, and albums with Google Play credit. And while it may not sound like much, Google Rewards has bought three albums for me on the Google Play store!
Google Rewards Annual Amount Earned: $36.55 in Google Play Credit
5. Panel App
Panel App is available to both Apple and Android users. It runs in the background of your phone and uses your GPS to ask you about places you recently visited. Some people may be uncomfortable with sharing this information, but if you aren’t… it’s an easy way to earn extra money. Your points can be redeemed for sweepstakes entries, Amazon Gift cards, Visa Gift cards or Google Play Gift cards.
Panel App Annual Amount Earned: $30.00 in Amazon Gift Cards
6. Facebook Yard Sale Groups
Selling your items online is easier than ever thanks to Facebook. Those interested in selling and buying items can do so in Facebook groups. There are dozens of Facebook groups designed specifically for this purpose! Upon joining, you can list your items to sell and then meet with the buyer at a safe and public place.
Of course, with everything on the internet… you’ll have people who flake, try to scam you, or who vigorously bargain with you. But, if you just stick to your instincts… you can make a decent chunk of change! I recently got into it over the past year and I’ve made over $250 selling unwanted clothes that were collecting dust in my closet. With that money, I was able to buy a passport and save back spending money for an upcoming vacation.
Facebook Yard Sale Groups Annual Amount Earned: $250 of cold hard cash
7. My Coke Rewards
Coke may not be your drink of choice, but that doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from the rewards consumers get from drinking it. My Coke Rewards is a program that rewards Coca-Cola fans/consumers for using their products. Almost every Coke product has a code that can be entered online for points to use in their reward catalog. My Coke Rewards points can be used for everything from free coke products, gift cards, to magazine subscriptions. And they’re always adding more to their reward catalog!
Whether you drink coke or not, collecting the caps from Coca-Cola products and tearing the codes from 12 packs can help you earn rewards. If you’re a fan of Coca-Cola products, this will be an easy task. If not, ask your friends to save them for you or pick them up whenever you see them on the street. It may seem silly, but the points really do add up.
My Coke Rewards Annual Amount Earned: 60 days of Spotify premium(a $20 value) & a $10 Amazon Gift Card.
Not all of these options are as lucrative than others. However, they are all worth giving a go in your spare time. While none of them will make you rich , they will provide you with extra cash to fund your Starbucks habit, buy Christmas gifts or to save for that luxury vacation of your dreams. Time is money, so you might as well be making a little extra money with your free time 😉.
